Walkie runs on your Mac. We don’t run a cloud service for your work, and the app sends us no telemetry.

Waitlist
If you join the waitlist we keep your email address, when you signed up, and which link brought you here (for example a launch post). We use it only to send launch news and your Alpha invitation. The list is stored with our email provider, Loops.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted, email yanglidatascience@gmail.com.
Visits
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites. We see totals such as page views, referring sites, and countries, not individual visitors.
The Walkie app
- Your code, conversations, and files stay on your Mac. Your phone connects to your Mac directly, over your Wi-Fi or your own Tailscale network, with an encrypted connection.
- Your agents work as they always do. Claude Code, Codex, and Antigravity send your prompts to their own providers under those providers’ terms. Walkie doesn’t add a copy anywhere else.
- Voice. Speech is turned into text either by your iPhone’s built-in speech recognition (handled by Apple) or by Whisper running on your Mac. If you choose to configure a cloud speech service yourself, audio goes to that service.
- Notifications are delivered through Apple’s push service. Their content is encrypted for your phone; Apple can’t read it.
- No telemetry. The app doesn’t report usage, crashes, or analytics to us.
